Snowballed

Now that we've finally got something approaching a decent winter for the first time in years, it seemed only right & proper to capture it in the photographic form. It was -6˚C when I took these (even though the sun was out), but the light was superb & the sun sparkled off the snow beautifully – I could have spent hours just wandering the fields & taking photos, but had to stop when I could no longer feel my fingers! I think my favourite is 3484.

I took these the day before in Cambridge, but the weather had gone very gloomy & it had started snowing again, so I didn't expect great things from them, but after a bit of a tweak in Lightroom they scrubbed-up quite nicely.
