Dreadlock Holiday

Last Sunday I enjoyed a glorious afternoon watching some friends playing cricket & practising my sports photography. It was a fantastic day & I was really happy with some of the shots I captured – whether the subjects will agree when they see them is another matter entirely!

I was trawling through some tripe on my phone the other day, & came across these gems from last October – a rare chance to see the amazing Napier-Railton running at the Brooklands museum in Surrey. For those who don't know, it's the holder of the Brooklands lap record at 143.44mph, is powered by a 24l W-12 Napier Lion aero engine, has 3 gears & no front brakes! If you're near Weybridge with time to kill you could do a lot worse than pay it a visit (along with lots of other fascinating air & racing exhibits. They're not paying me to say that, it's just a really great museum!):
